As my one-year blogging anniversary approaches, I can’t help but think is this it? Is this what blogging is about?, putting up nice pictures of outfits, contemplating for hours over what to write just in case it sounds abit much or too personal for a fashion blog? Maybe the reason I’ve been holding back on writing what I really want to say is because all the successful blogs I’ve read are the ones which don’t necessarily talk about much, they’re just nice to look at. It’s not that I don’t want my blog to be aesthetically pleasing, but I want people to come back because they’re getting more out of this blog; because they feel like they can relate to me in some way or get to know me.

I think it fair to say I’m still pretty new to the blogging community, and I’ve got a lot more to learn about what makes a successful blog with a good following. Having said this, I also feel that it’s essential that I stay true to myself and do exactly what I intended to do with my blog, which is not conform but to put out content that is from my heart, content that will uplift others, and most importantly encourage them to be the best they possibly could be.

So you can expect a lot more personal chit chats about life and how my journey is going (as well as the obligatory outfit pics of course), so that you could see that as good as life may be, it isn’t as glamorous as it may seem, not all that is gold truly glitters, and that sometimes we all get handed some lemons, you’ve just got to be strong enough to make lemonade with them.

Until next time, God Bless x
