On the last weekend of August, my youth group from church went away on a calm and reflection filled retreat. The purpose of it all was to get to know each other a bit better, and most importantly spend some time getting to know God more. Glad to say we had a fabulous time, and I can honestly say I was reminded of the important role my relationship with God plays in my life, and how to maintain that relationship.

The weather on the Saturday was just beautiful; I believe it was the hottest day of the British summer, and you know what that means. I was able to get my legs out, in this cute H and M denim dress I picked up from one of the charity shops in Canterbury, it was a bargain!

At one point during the summer I got bored of having extensions in my hair, so I decided to let the natural mane see some sunshine for a change. I usually have it out in an afro, but I thought I would tame it, and decided to put it in these two Grecian style braids, which I taught myself within ten minutes of trial and error, not bad.

I hope you’ve all been well, and are still very active in making your dreams come true, until next time, Cheerio!
